Default A mixed bag yesterday

Since it really isn't a religion issue, I'm not posting it on this forum, but here's an account of what happened (and IS happening around here) yesterday and today. It's posted in the off season forum.

Dave,
Other than that . . .are you having a pretty good day? . .LOL Some days we're the pigion , somedays the statue! Thank God for good neighbors. I'll say a prayer for your plight and that you don't damage your shoulder. Makes us appreciate the things we take for granted . .power, water, electricity . .a driveway.[&:]

Dave,
Sorry I posted on the off season. I'm sorry for the trials and wish I was there to have helped. Salvage the good out of those kind of days and praise God for them and the tough stuff fades away .

Yesterday, as this was happening, I told God that I thanked Him that our house and family was spared and I trusted Him to take care of us. I'm going out there now to see what I can do in the daylight -- if anything. I think I'll take my camera down there and gets some pics of this too.

Thanks for the prayers!

Well, I got the driveway cleared enough yesterday to drive through easily. My son was able to get me some gas and I used my tractor to break off some of the smaller (6-7") diameter branches. Then I was able to drive one of our vehicles that was parked on the OTHER side (another son was away during the storm) to get another chainsaw chain. Just as I cleared the last of the branches out of the driveway, THE NEW chain broke! Fortunately, the driveway is cleared now and I can work on the clean-up later.

This morning, I was at my regular physical therapy session to rehab my shoulder and my doctor said I had really inflamed and aggravated my shoulder. It's swollen and very tender and my range of motion is even more dimished. I'm on ice and meds all weekend and he'll evaluate my condition on Monday.

By the way, I DO count my blessings through all this. I've thanked and praised God for His blessings.

Good hearing from ya Dave.
I'm looking forward to meeting you brother. Keep in touch...especially when that weekend gets closer. I will be in prayer about that shoulder. Hopefully you can hunt this fall. You will be in my dailys.
God Bless,
Chuck
