Ladys and gentlemen I am the one that posted (once saved always saved) and I am truly sorry that I did. I do not wish to start anymore problems for the people that truly love the Lord so know it is time to leave this forum because I will not be the one that makes you ? what is right or wrong in your faith.I will say this to all of you may God give you peace of hart , mind and soul, and may he be with all of you in your homes and at work and play........ peace and love to all and I will see you when we areon streets of gold..

Dear Lord please be with all that are here and may you bring them peace and joy and most of all LOVE Amen and goodbye to all

refrowridge, no need to apologize . . . .truth be known , confrontation is part of what keeps this forum going. Nothing wrong with folk holding their beliefs up to the light. Check back over the past year here and you will see that this is a common thing here. Learning to disagree in the right Spirit is where we are lacking in many cases (myself included), but this is a great tool for study and you are already considered a friend to many. Stick around.

Renfrowridge asking questions is how we all learn.I don't think any of us have everything figured out.Ask the lord to guide you in what you learn and strive your best to do it. He will take care of everything else.

Hi renfrowridge,

Topics such as eternal security, baptism, faith/works, the Trinity,...and the like have been discussed and debated for centuries. You didn't begin anything that hasn't gone on for hundreds and hundreds of years. I know that your intention was not to cause any strife here, so no need to apologize Most here have already debated this particular issue at least 3-4 times since I've been a member here. (Check it out with the search feature) To be honest with you, it will taper off probably within the next week then resurface again in about 2 months with most of the same people saying mostly the same things. There are certain topics that just go in a cycle. Not just here, but among Christians in general. The question isn't whether we should discuss such topics or not (for this is how we can really grow), but rather how do we treat one another in the course of such discussion and potential disagreements.

A topic such as this one, most people do not change their minds, at least not in an internet forum. And though this topic has been hashed out before several times, and has even gotten a little heated, there is much mutual respect among the forum members here. If anything, it should cause us all to dig deeper into God's Word seeking a fuller understanding by His Holy Spirit with a humble heart.

Chuck said it well:

renfrowridge--don't leave. That was a topic that interested many of us and generated lots of discussion. This forum would be pretty boring if someone started a thread and then all the replies were "I agree."

I just talked to Ren...,
I understand where he is coming from. The Bible is very clear on staying away from strife. I see the same thing. This forum can be full of strife. No matter what folks want to call it......The Bible says clearly....OUR WORDS ARE VERY POWERFUL. We will be accountable for every idle one .That is a fact. He doesn't want to be part / or guilty of causing strife. I hear his message loud and clear.
Brother Chuck
