Renfrow, I believe you can do a search on the subject and get lots of information from both sides. Some believe yes, some believe no. There is a lot of scripture to look at concerning this, and it's included in past posts.

I have worried myself to death about this matter. Why? Cause I never want it happen. Here is what I believe. I believe it is possible to lose your salvation. Maybe you never meant it the time you asked God to come in your life, maybe you walked away. But I believe it would have to be extreme circumstances like actually denouncing God or Jesus. I see children around 7-12 years old getting baptised. I have mixed feelings. For example, my brother got baptised when he was around 12. After that he of course quit going to church all together at 16 and didn't go back until he was 28 or so. If you were to ask him at 24, if he died today where would he go, he would probably have said, "I don't know". Now either he wasn't really saved in the first place or he fell from God's grace. I guess what I am saying you either know you have accepted Jesus in your heart or you havn't. No middle road.

Chuck,
Sorry ,but I think he is no longer saved. There are lots of verses tha tsay this. This is not an opinion. I think the scriptures are pretty plain on this one. This computer freezes easy at school so I have to make quick replies. I will be supporting this with many scriptures to night.
God Bless
He that endures to the end, the same shall be saved.
Brother Chuck

I did a search of once saved always saved and got a post from clint dated 10/3/2003 very good reading it said when you stand before God in the end he will say depart from me I never new you. But if a man works for God and preach the word and lead many soulsto Christ and went around the world to save people and build churchs for haft his life, but he turn his back would God say depart I never knew you? This one I just dont know.

17Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me. 18When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand. 19Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul. 20Again, When a righteous man doth turn from his righteousness, and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumblingblock before him, he shall die: because thou hast not given him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he hath done shall not be remembered; but his blood will I require at thine hand. 21Nevertheless if thou warn the righteous man, that the righteous sin not, and he doth not sin, he shall surely live, because he is warned; also thou hast delivered thy soul. Ezekiel 3 17-21

Try an internet search for Perseverance. It is part and parcel of the TULIP (a Calvinist acronym); Total Depravity, Unconditional Election, Limited Atonement, Irresistible Grace, and Perseverance of the Saints. There are arguments both for and against Perseverance. I personally am against it since to me the scriptures (and I mean the Bible) clearly imply that one can fall from grace.
