Default Romania Mission Report

Hey Guys!!!
I've returned from Romania! Wow it was really different there! We are sooooooo blessed to live in the States! God really has blessed the U.S.A.!! Now if the U.S.A. would just be a blessing to Him!!! The folks over there were very interesting, there were some hunters. One told me about how they hunt wild pigs, they use a noose and a sharp stick! They also have some bears over there, hunt them the same way. They did say that some people have guns and use them, but it is rare. I'm going to sendsome pictures that one of the guys I studied with gave me, you will really like the story that goes with the pictures!!!! Thank you for praying for me and the team, all was great, and we saw 7 souls come to Christ. Most had been raised Orthodox, but had never been to church since they were kids. 2 were athiest, but had no idea exactly what that was. That's just what they had been told ever since the Communists had control. It was a good trip and many other missionaries are needed. It was great to meet and learn from other souls that our Father loves, and wants to have in eternity forever!

P.S. the picture is of a "Roe Deer" it looks alot like our white-tail but the antlers are different. This isthe mostpopular big game animal there. Otherwise Phesants& Rabbitsare the #1 choice of most hunters!

Goose, on the 18th of June I drove thru close to Auburn, but I knew
you were in Romania so I kept going to meet with Leafrivermac and
family in MS.
My niece and family were missonaries in Romania for 3yrs.
Nice picture of the Roe deer.

That in particular is a gorgeous stag! Silver medal, if not gold for sure.

Judyboi, your view of that stag just goes to show that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. To me, it just is another reason that we are blessed to be americans . . I would keep those horns but if that is an example of a trophy there, I feel blessed.. . .Never mind me, . . .I'm just running off this morning.

I'm glad to hear about the souls saved during your trip. Glad you're back safe too. Maybe "next" time you can hunt a bit while you're there!

Yea, really! I wish I could. The Romanian Goverenment is still quite socialist and they don't allow much hunting, at least "legal" hunting. But in Hungary it's on! It's quite easy to get a hunt in Hungary, cheap too! And the scenery is amazing! Looks alot like Montana from what I could see! Thanks for the encouragement guys! The rest of the team (10 were with me and 10 went after us) are still there, and getting great results, some are following up on our Bible studies. So we'll see God work some more I am sure. God bless you all.
