Default What's with all the Anti-Mormon posts?

I'm not a member of the Church of LDS, but....It seems like there's folks who's enitre faith mission is to get on the case of the Mormons, "who don't believe in quite the proper fashion"according to the Anti-LDS crowd. Where are the posts bemoaning the beliefs of other relgions? There's other Christain based faiths out there like the Nestorians, Coptic Christians, and Kimbangists ( a Christian cult in the DRC inspired by a Joseph Kimbangi). Then there's the obviously non-Christian relgions like the Wiccans, Jews, Druids, Druze, Shintoists, Buddhists, Animists, Muslims, etc
This description for this board reads "Discuss how your religious views affect your hunting lifestyle." Do the anti-whoevers actually think about this stuff while sitting in the deer stand? Maybe it's easier to point fingers at your neighbors than toshow the positive benefitsof your faith throughthe example of an honest life?

Joe,
The ones who have been posting the Morman post have been Mormans. I believe they want to clear up some questions with the non-Mormons. I don't believe there are people doing hurtful things . Porter is asking the questions. He is a Mormon.

Joe, I think we're equal opportunity slammers here and we would'nt deny any of those you mentioned a chance in the hot seat.

Joe A.
I understand the "gist" of your post.
I will state and stand by this... looking back on the actions of the members of this forum your post isn't warrented.

Past threads show that this forum is ready to chastise<sp> it's members when we see each other stepping over the line in not showing Love to our fellow man. (Your current thread is an example of this).

If you will look at the threads over the past year you will see that Mormons or Mormon Bashing are NOT the normal topic of discussion.

The Mormon faith is "contrary" to the normal Christian faith. So naturally it is going to be discussed as such.
To not come to terms with that fact is to expect this board (mostly Chirstian) to accept the promotion of Buddisim without a squeak...... If that were the case if nothing else...this would be one very boring place.

Joe A.
I understand your point. I just happen to feel it isn't warrented yet.

Your thread is an endorsement of the posters on this forum...not an indictment of them.

Thanks
Mr-Pirk
