Default Beliefs

Is there anyone here who believes that God has a wife?

Is there anyone here who believes that Jesus Christ and Lucifer were brothers?

Is there anyone here who believes that God had sexual intercourse with the virgin Mary?

Is there anyone here who believes that Jesus Christ was married?

Is there anyone here who believes that God is not omnipresent?

Is there anyone here who believes that there is more than one God?

Is there anyone here who believes that men can become Gods?

If anyone here believes these things or just some of these things---would you be willing to explain these beliefs to others here?

Clint, I would hate to try to explain those things to anyone, much less a bible believing christian. I don't profess to know anything about the Mormans, but I suspect that the first thing they would have to do is to convince their subjects that the Book Of Morman or The Pearl Of Great Price, are credible additions to the New Testament. That said, . .I have met folk that have never read the bible, . .and were open to listening to what I had to say about it. And started reading it for themselves and were eventually believers. These same folk would not have been difficult to sell these things to that you have mentioned, and I suspect that many are brought into the fold in this way. What really boggles my mind is that, like Judiboi said, they have many convert to Mormanism from other bible believing denominations. I don't doubt his claim to this. What I would like to know is . .what is the selling point of Mormanism for a non Morman Christian? What would make them believe in their doctrine?

I have heard of Asherah the Hebrew Godess,
but I don't know if she was considered his wife.[8D]

I have a friend named Jesus and has a brother named Luciano.

God the Father,God the Son=1(one) not two.

That's an evolutioist question.

I believe that God can not be omnipresent. My reasoning is that if God is a single conscious entity presiding over the entire Universe,He would have to be instantaneously aware of what is hapening in places millions of light years apart at the same time. This would violateEinstein's Theory of Special Relativity which states that information can travel no faster than the speed of light.

This would assume that God is restrained and limited to the laws that He created. The Creator would thus be subject to creation, including His laws that govern His creation. In effect, the Potter would be a slave to the pot.

gman--I concur with the others. Very well said.

God is not subject to our laws and principles.
