Brethern; This is the second attempt to make this post. The first was canceled because I didn't want to seem controversial. However I feel this on my heart, so we will let the chips fall where they may.

There are those who quote this passage and when confronted with applying it to their life, they deny thay it applies to them today. This is how many would have you read this passage, All scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for love, for love, for love, and for love. The truth is in Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Is this scripture given of God? Luke 12:51 Suppose ye that I am come to give peace on earth? I tell you, Nay; but rather division. Did Jesus say that?? Is this in your bible?? Then pray tell me whywe would be upset with a brother for expressing his views which he has based on the scripture as he see it??
Gal 4:6 Am I become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?
II Chr 18:7 There is yet one man, by whom we may inquire of the Lord: but I hate him; for he never prophesied good unto me, but always evil: the same is micaiah. We can't handle someone who disagrees with us or our pet scriptures that we carefully pick and choose from the bible. Jesus settled this when he said that man should not live by bread alone, but by EVERY word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. Paul withstood Peter to the face because he was to be blamed. I wonder if Peter threw a pity party, pouted, whined, and tried to rundown Paul and find fault with his life in order to bring Paul down to his level? If a brother tries to show us a higher walk with God, why do we try to pull him down instead of pulling ourselves up to the higher standard?
Why am I writting this?? Because I see on this board, those who should be taking solid meat of the word, that act as if the have never been weaned from the bottle. Can't get along with out their pacifier. Don't tell me what a great warrior for God you are if you can't keep the victory in your soul because of this board. "I'm blocking you out", Is that how we earnestly contend for the faith? By only listening to those who speak what we want to hear, Is that how we grow in grace and the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ? It appears that its time to put away childish things and become men.
Who am I referring to?? If you are reading this, you are the man. Take what applies to you and leave the rest for the next reader. There is enough to go around.

In love brother I forgive you. I'm sorry that love offends a few of you. I could come back as well and beat you up with scriptures. I'm too mature for that. I will turn my cheek. His love constrains me. Please be careful though brother, the Father takes it personal when you do what you are doing to His own. Your venom is clearly seen in your language. Rebel and Moose take caution of what you say Amen too. The Lord has called us to gather not to scatter. Just because someone is quoting alot of scripture doesn't always call for an Amen. Christ was crucified for the same thing I am. The Pharisees hated His simplistic message of love. If I were of the world these would be patting me on the back .Instead, they literally hate me. He that hateth his brother hath not the love of God. It's that black and white. This is actually good for me. His glory rest upon me through the false accusations and name calling. Snooky I won't continue to defend myself. I normally don't. I believe there is enough truth here. I don't hate anyone here. I beleive strongly that our words have GREAT power. When a brother or sister continued to twist and doubt every post I have posted I had no other choice. Christ just simply walked through the crowd somehow and disappeared I can't on here. I thank God for the Post blocks. They have literally been a life saver. I don't mind a negative remark here and there, but nearly every post had them .And then when I shared my 8 views on love and they still found fault with accusations of being a phony.....there obviously wasn't nothing to work with anyway. Paul said to live at peace with one another as much as lieth within you. There comes a point when you have to wipe the dust off your shoes and go on. These things generally appear from deep rooted jealousy as the case of Cain and Abel. For the Ameners, God help you ,as you cheer on while another brother is getting stoned. I'm going back to school today.

Okay, I am just a tad bit confused. I looked back at my posts and found only three before I was put on ignore that were directed at Chuck. One was to defend myself when posed a question that I perceived was about choosing between my beliefs and love. The second one was just a "your welcome" to the "thank you" I received from Chuck.

Ladies and Gentlemen, we are all guilty in one way or another of going against God's will so let's humble ourselves before the Lord and ask for his forgiveness and honor him and not one another..to be brothers and sisters in Christ we must love one another, that's a commandment from Christ himself.. so what is all the fuss about love, it should be an automatic for a christian..no, i don't agree with some of the things posted here, and i don't agree with how some interpret the Word of God and i am sure there are those who don't agree with me..but i am a blood bought born again sinner saved by the wonderful grace of God and i call myself an Ind. Baptist..I believe the bible is the inerrant , infallable Word of God..and i love you all even though you disagree with me..if we all would look at the scripture as thus sayeth the Lord and quit trying to put our twist to it things would go a lot smoother..

Lizzie, I find myself agreeing with Bro Motor quite often. I have always agreed with Bro Busbee. And I agree with Motor's present post, and with Snookies, and yours.
However, there is a type of love that when I see it a red flag goes up. It's misplaced, unscriptural love. It's a love that will tell you whatever you want to hear to get you on it's side.A love that will pull someone off you that is trying to give you a truth. A love that will act like it's concidering accepting a false belief. Jim Jones and David Koresh had this kind of love. Not that anyone here has the charisma of these type people. Love yes, but when your trying to win souls don't do it at the expense of the gospel. The word of God is the way to convict and win souls. We have to be rooted and grounded in the word and know where we are at first. All else is vanity.
