Right now, on the side of this trinity thing I'm kinda into a thought of bible study. Have you guys ever concidered that we can study the Word from two perspectives? We can study on a practical level and learn things that we can put to use in our everyday lives. Going at it on a spiritual level tho will give us a glimpse of something deeper, often with the same verse.
The story of Abraham and Isaac for example. When we read the story about how Abraham was going to offer his son Isaac for sacrifice, on a practical level we learn the importance of faith and trusting God completly. Sudying the same story on a spiritual level we discover that Abraham represents God the Father, and Isaac represents Jesus. And this is a glimpse of how God would offer His only begotten Son as a sacrifice.
Something I didn't realize , but learned today, Jesus was crucified at the very same place that Abraham brought Isaac.

A very good point Bro. Another example of volumns of spiritual truths that are being lost are those found in the Law of Moses and the Tabernacle in the Wilderness. Everyone seems to want to destroy rather than fulfill. They toss aside more truth than they would ever be able to digest. One reason no one wants to acknowledge the truths hidden in the Law is that they support the oneness doctrine. Rather than find a scriptural answer, it is easier to dismiss it as destroyed and done away with. To understand who Christ was and what he came to do, we must understand the Law. The Law is the schoolmaster to lead us to Christ. That is New Testament Scripture.
Would this be a daily study? You can operate anyway that you see fit. That is between you and the Lord. The folks might want something new and it would give me a break. I've completed chapter 10 tonight.

Leaf,
Most of my studies have been with prayer and fasting....including todays. I let love lead me. Christ walked in love and was crucified. Believe me I could have said much more but I felt the leading of the Lord to stop. Should I hav edisobeyed God. I don't think so. My flesh loves to argue. My God forbids it.

No Chuck, I can't commit with the work load I have right now. I come up with stuff that the Word shows me now and then and feel led to share it. I do have something I could post tommorow evening, Lord willing, as I have an umption to post it anyway.
Which in itself is a thought, . . if your tired , why not ask for folk to claim a day of the week to give something.
