Today"™ Bible Study started yesterday.
The study was on this verse. Saint John 10:30 I and my Father are one.
Snooky and Leaf wholehearted believe that there is only one God who is both Jesus and God.
I believe in the trinity , That like the 3 leaf clover that Saint Patrick taught ,they are three in one. Our problem is with our finite minds in the understanding of the word one.
17:21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. 17:22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: 17:23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.
Actually as I consulted the experts on this issue I am stepping down out of this debate. Actually this subject is a very serious subject and nothing to toy with.Although the Bible does not contain the word trinity the trinity pricipal is there for me.

I will limit my imput to the other thread as trying to keep up with two debatescontaining the same views is too confusing for an old mind. I will say here that there are "experts" so called on both sides of the debate. It has been the experts who have kept the church as divided as it is today. Every "expert", is expert in his slant on the debate. The Truth will be found in much study of Gods word and Gods word alone. The only "expert" that we can trust fully is the author of THE book. All other books are the ideas and views of mere mortal men who are trying to win a convert to their ideas. Something important to keep in mind, (regardless of which side is right) we can only be saved by the Apostles doctrine, 1 Tim 4:16.
II Tim 3:15 The scripture, (and scripture alone) which are able to make thee wise unto salvation. James 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally and upbraideth not.
Let us earnestly contend for the faith which was once delievered unto the saints.

I don't think this is a Heaven and Hell issue or I would send individuals PMs I do think because of Love I need to back off.
Here is the verse I was thinking about.when I decided to back off. Already I have recieved some fleshly e-mails which I rejoice in. I know I'm on the right track when that happens.
"And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, " You are all men and I am a servant. I have learned alot through this.
