As some of you may know, prayers from folks here were (are) being said for my sister that is currently in a losing battle with cancer. Her latest update is not good. The cancer ismore aggressive as each day passes....She has been told to ..."put her things in order".....It is such a tough fight and just knowing it is hopeless can be so very trying.

Again, I ask for prayers, not to hopefully beat this dreaded disease but to make the remaining time left more comfortable so she shares in the lovewith herfamily that we all try to provide.

Jimmy, hold hands and pray with her at side. When the Lord calls
we all have to go Jimmy. I want to have the Lord in my heart when
it's my time.
May the gates of Heaven be opened for her my friend. I know it's
hard to loose a love one, but the Lord is in command and we have to
believe in him to walk with him when we pass on.

Just a quick update on the health of my sister...A few weeks ago, when I last posted here, she was in rapid decline. All evidence suggested the end may be near. Since early July, she has stabilized and even the slighest optimism about the very near future can be felt and shared by all family members. Also, the fact that she is comfortable and without much pain, is also a blessing.

To my friends here, I again say a heartfelt Thank You....
