Default The unreached tribesmen

I was wondering about this subject. Right now i believe that everyone no matter what has a chance to go to heaven even if they havnt heard the name of Jesus

. And just to make sure you know im talking about like people in Africa that have never heard the gospel before.

I know Jesus said that no one comes to the father except through me but what about when you havnt heard of Jesus?

The way I was raised...it doesn't matter. Even young children, born to practicing Christian families, who died before they were baptized can't go to heaven. Folks in this category aren't damned, but they're not saved. Their souls were kept in limbo.

I believe all the people that died that did not get to learn about Jesus will be resurrected during Christ 1000 year reign. And will get their oppurtunity to accept him as lord and saviour then.

The bible plainly teaches in Titus 2:11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men. This doesn't mean that God has to explain every chapter and every verse to them. As with Cornelius in Acts chapter 10, heneeded to know what to do. There was no preacher in his area to preach to him the words of salvation. Faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God. The angel of God appeared to him and told him who he needed to contact, (Peter)and where he was staying, (with Simon the Tanner). God is no respecter of person. If God did this for Cornelius, he will do it for anyone who is honest and sincere about his salvation. God is not willing that any perish. To say that a person has never had a chance to be saved is question God's integrity. God says that Grace that brings salvation hath appeared! Man may not see the angels, or messengers of God but that doesn't mean that they don't exist.

That is still right and it's why we have soooo many missionaries all over the world trying to let them know about Jesus. Since the verse you mention and so many others make it very clear about who will inherit Heaven, it is OUR responsibility (and The Great Commission) to "get the Word out" so they will know how to get their too. God doesn't want anyone to perish apart from Him, but ignorance is no excuse. In Romans 1, we can see where even those who have never heard should be able to see the existence of God by the mere creation before them.

Very good answer brother,
We are responsible to share our faith. Satan will do whatever it takes to keep our mouths shut ...like
1. You don't know your Bible good enough yet.
2. They probably already know about Jesus anyway.
3.Hey..that's what the preacher gets paid for.
4.I might get beat up.
5. I'm not worthy, I have secret sin in my life.
6. I'm scared and embarassed.
7. I don't know how to lead one to Christ.
Chuck
PS My wife gave me a # 8. She said it's because He is not a vital part of your life. She said you talk about hunting all the time to others because that is what is on your heart ... If one loved Christ that much he would talk to others often about his Lord. " Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh."

Skins I can not back this up with scripture, but God is a loving and forgiving God, I am sure there is some plan he has for the salvation/Judgement of those who through no fault of their own have never heard the Word during thier lifetime on earth, more then likely it will be during Christ's 1,000 year reign.

Bro. Chuck you hit the nail right on the head with your response, especially (for me) #5. I think that one (#5) is the biggest one in my life that hinders me. Thank you for you response.
