Good morning friends, 8:45 And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.
The children of the devil would rather believe a lie. The Word of God has no place in their hearts. God has said in the past that those who are of God hear God"s word.
8:46 Which of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me? Although He was accused of blasphemy , drunkenness, gluttony, and of corrupting the teachings of Moses ,He was not proved of sin. These were only false accusations.
8:47 He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God. Hear { ak oo o } to understand .Christians understand God"s Word. Remember the parable of the Sower and the seed. Matthew 13: 23 But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and UNDERSTANDETH it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty. My open question is this. Is their anyway to help an unbeliever to understand but to demonstrate God"s love ? 2 Corinthians 4:3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: 4:4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
But all will not here no matter what. I mean Christ is the Word in All it"s glory and these jews here cannot receive it. Why?"" You tell me.
8:48 Then answered the Jews, and said unto him, Say we not well
that thou art a Samaritan, and hast a devil? The jews diffently seen the Samaritans as lost. We went over that in chapter 4. I"ve actually heard people in our day say that if a miracle is done it must have been of the devil because God doesn"t do them in this age. Does the devil heal and bring to life? I thought he was a robber and a liar. He doesn"t do good. Let me share a recent 24 hour event that happened last night locally.I believedthis was of the devil. A 25 year old boy listened to some rap. On the CD cover was a picture of a man with a gun in his mouth. The boy drank a 12 pack .He was upset over his girl friend leaving him. Last night they found him in his apartment hung with a suicide note. That is what Satan has to offer. Jesus did nothing but restore health and teach people to love from the heart. He came to set the captive free. Later he does the ultimate".He makes a way for the whole world to be saved IF only they will believe/ understand.
8:49 Jesus answered, I have not a devil; but I honour my Father, and ye do dishonour me.
Jesus makes it clear. I don"t have a demon. He honours { tim ah o } to revere or value"the father. He reveres and honours Him so much that He often prayed all night. He honours Him so much that His whole purpose in life is to do the "will of Him who sent me." ; even unto death. Quwstion".How much do you and I honor God? Jesus knew they didn"t honor God for He said " and ye do dishonour me."
Hebrews 2: 3How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;
8:50 And I seek not mine own glory: there is one that seeketh and judgeth. That is why Jesus" ministry is so effective is because He only sought to do God"s will. We will do better to in life if we really strive to please Him only. When our interest our divided it can distort our single purpose of God. We must be at the place where Christ truly is #1 in our lives. Paul said,"for do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.
In conclusion we are reminded to thank God for having ears to hear. We also need to let our love /light shine where ever we are at and always be ready to give an answer for the hope that is in our hearts. Finally, we all need to honor God in everything we do and say.

Is there anyway to help an unbeliever to understand but to demonstrate God's love? All unbelievers are not the same. Some are unbelievers because they have never heard the Gospel. Some are unbelievers because they heard but didn't understand the message. Some are unbelievers because they were taught an error by a false prophet. Some are unbelievers because they have sold themselves to the wicked one and are his servant by choice. Some are unbelievers because they put off salvation and rejected the calling of God until God gave them over to a reprobate mind.
One of the greatest soul winning tools is an overcoming lifedisplayed bythe witness. Living for God, day in and day out, in good times and bad times, will have a tremendous effect on the unbeliever who is still in a savable condition. Remember that no man can come except the Spirit draw him. When the Spirit draws him and he answers God's call for whatever reasons, a man of God will be sent his way to preach, (testify or witness) the Gospel to the unbeliever. The bible says that "He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved".
