It seems to me that there is no benefit to be found in Songs of Solomon. It seems that it is adulterous, or some form of primitive pornography. My church doesn't recognize it as an inspired writing, more of that of a monk with an old manuscript dealing with Solomon and decided to slap it in. What are your thoughts?

The Jews thought they were significant because portions of the songs were sung at the annual Feast of Passover.

I'm simple enough to believe it it's in the Bible it is God's Word. One powerful verse that is in it is.."only love is stronger than death." There is nothing pornographic about love when it is between a husband and wife. That's as far as I care to go with this one.

he also wrote ecclesiastis and most of proverbs and it came from the Holy Spirit not some old monk..
