Romans8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
Notice.....it is not just "to them that are in Christ Jesus." It does not stop there. It goes on to say "Who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit." The other versions of the Bible omit that part of the verse. There is all the difference in the world from being a Christian and walking in the Spirit. 8:5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. It's where your mind is at. The mind set on the Spirit is life and peace. The fleshly mind is worried , flustered, and thinking about things that are not Christ like. Those people are living in condemnation. Those who are walking after the Spirit are free with no condemnation. 8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

I don't know ,but with that part out it throws a totally differnet meaning on that verse. Without the second part of that verse it reads "There is no condemnation in Christ Jesus." That alone is false. If I would commitadultery today I have plenty of condemnation . But...if you add the second part of that verse " but walk not after the flesh but after the Spirit." I can relate to that one.
Possibly the devil himself. With all the confusion in the church you know he is a frequent visitor in the church. In James we read ..the devils also believe, and tremble. James 2:19 yeah ..I could see Him leaving out that part. Another important verse that every version leaves out is this one..
Mark:9:29 And he said unto them, This kind can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting.
All of the other versions leave out the fasting.
Pretty sneaky huh.

Friends,
As I was out cutting my grass..I thought about those 2 verses that ALL of the other versions leave out. Those are heavy load magnum verses against Satan. Some of you can probably find more. If you can please post them. But let's look at these two and see why the enemy would want these out.
Romans8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
Here is the NIV,Romans 8:1 1Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus Put's no clauses, no responsibility on the Christian and has him/her believeing a lie. That even if I feel condemned / convicted I just need to remember.." There is no condemnation to those in Christ Jesus." Yeah right!!
2. Mark 9;29 King James
And he said unto them, This kind can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting.
NIV29He replied, "This kind can come out only by prayer.
Can you hear the enemy saying YES! Friends, his disciples had more than a quick look at our Lord. They camped with him, were taught for 3 years by his side and ordained by HIm to cast out demons. And yet in this situation against super strong holds He instructs them speaking the Word in my name is not enough. "These kind must have prayer and FASTING." That fasting part is 00 Buck 3" Magnium 10 guage . compared to a 410 dove load of 71/2 shot. with prayer alone. I wonder who is really behind of of these verse eliminating versions.

Chuck, I prefer the KJV myself, however, I would try to look into this more. My question would be if the part of those verses were in the original manuscripts to the extent to warrant their inclusion into the King James. I do know of a verse or two in the KJ that are questionable when you look at the history of their inclusion. I'm not going against the KJ in any way but I do defer to the original manuscripts and their intended translations.
I could make a better post out of this if my PC at home were up and running[:@]. So far all that I have done has not fixed my problem. Was there actually life before computers?

"I wonder who is really behind of of these verse eliminating versions." Brother Chuck man is behind these verses being altered, I won't say Sat influenced them or not, but it is a possibilty.
"I'm not going against the KJ in any way but I do defer to the original manuscripts and their intended translations." Brother Mac, I concur with using the originals, but are there any left? From my understanding there are very old copies of the originals, but not a one of the actual originals, I could be wrong on that and sadly it would not be the first time!

Taz and Leaf,
For what it is worth. We had an old Greek scholar at my college. From years of study the team odf scholars looked at all the translations. I understand the KJV is also a translation. The school did not even use the KJV. The school version tha tall students had to purchase was the American Standard. However; after the study only one Bible translation had no errors. That they said was the King James Version. Hey ,if it was good enough for Paul,it's good enough for me. LOL

I wanna walk in the spirit more, in fact all the time. I get tired of walking in the flesh. Always something to drag you down.
I hear that!!! Boy,do I hear that.....
Chuck.....
Walking in the Spirit, for me, is a 24/7 ordeal. Every waking moment, conversation with God,doing His will,or NOT doing His will. Until I see Jesus return, this Earth will not have a single Perfect man in it, yet many will be enjoined with the Spirit. People wanna see perfection demonstrated on the OUTSIDE, where God wants it manifested on the INSIDE, so that the outward demonstration will be doubtless..above reproach from man.Outward expressions can, and are duplicated thru the influence of the Evil one. Do I believe there are Pentecostal churches (where the Spirit is THE active ingredient in their Doctrine) being operated out of the Spirit, and by Flesh? ABSOLUTELY....and not only Pentecostal churches, either!
We see that in the abuse scandals w/i the Catholic church as an example of NOT being led by the Spirit. I can't see how anyone can be led of the Spirit, and not Walk in the Spirit. We are not robots that are qued information when needed. We are friends that share a relationship with the Triune God...all three parts of Him. We pray THRU Jesus(if we want answered prayers).... we must LOVE God as the Father...we must RECIEVE the power of the Holy Spirit thru Baptism. Jesus breathed the HS into his disciples before he ascended, they didn't have to wait 'til Pentecost. It was THAT important to Jesus, that He made ABSOLUTELY sure they got it. How important is it for US to have it. Let's not get into a discussion about Baptism as evidenced...etc...OK? thats' another issue all together. All I know is that "walking" means relationship.Period.Jesus is only interested in fulltime relationships... no fair-weather friends tolerated. And as with ANY relationship that involves humans, it will have it's highs and lows. don't deny it, don't try to phsyco-analize it, just accept the fact that you are
and I'm(.place readers' name here) the weak link, due to your flesh.God not only knows this(He created it that way), but He fully expects the HONESTY out of us to realize that we're the problem when one arises during the relationship. The Spirit dwelling w/i you(walking ) will guide your thoughts, and thus, your actions.Constant communication is the key, staying hard-wired is VITAL. It offers the protection of the Wisdom and Power of the Holy Spirit.
The flesh fights daily..Pauls' did...yours does ...mine does...and God expects that. He expects us to HELP the Spirit fight these internal battles, but sometimes , when we're weak or beatdown, we dont. These are times when the Spirit WILL LEAD another Spirit-filled Believer to you, for your support. This is totally dependant upon the obedience of the OTHER believer, to be of any use.
The King James Version is a product of some of the latest and worst manuscripts available. The NIV and NASB are based on much earlier and thus more accurate manuscripts. I enjoy the KJV too, but there are much better translations.
