It should be A.R. not A.D.

You ever think about about the differences that could have been if the common term "A.D." after death had been coined "A.R." After Ressurection.

Well, the calendar isn't exact anyway, so why would the three days make the difference, apart from what it focuses on of course.

Actually A.D. doesn't stand for "after death"--that would leave an approximate 32-33 year gap from Christ's birth to His death. The words are Latin, and stands for Anno Domini which, as I remember, means "In the year of our Lord".

I had mostly heard that the "A.D." meant after-death, but I do remember it being used as
"The Year of Our Lord" as well, I just had never made the connection.
