Good Day Friends,
7:21 Jesus answered and said unto them, I have done one work, and ye all marvel.
The one work He is referring to is the lame man of 38 years lying beside the pool and told to take up his bed and walk.
7:22 Moses therefore gave unto you circumcision; (not because it is of Moses, but of the fathers

and ye on the sabbath day circumcise a man. Circumcision was before Moses. It began with Abraham. The Jews circumcise their sons on the eigth day if it falls on the Sabbath or not. That I believe is what Jesus is referring to here.
7:23 If a man on the sabbath day receive circumcision, that the law of Moses should not be broken; are ye angry at me, because I have made a man every whit whole on the sabbath day? If that would be the case ,how much more fully giving a man back his quality of life on the Sabbath. These Jews were diffently an example of being unteachable. They were locked in their traditions. And Jesus testified before that they didn"™t know God as well and were not obedient to the law. Misery loves to judge others and find fault. These folks found faults when there wasn"™t any to be found.
7:24 Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment. He is saying I believe to go past what you see with your eyes and judge righteously"¦from the heart.
7:25 Then said some of them of Jerusalem, Is not this he, whom they seek to kill? After hearing the Son speak that must have opened the eyes of some to ask that question.."ťIs not this He whom they seek to kill."ť According to James.."ť The poor of this world are rich in faith."ť Some of these types of people must have been there who could see straight through the motives of the Pharisees.
7:26 But, lo, he speaketh boldly, and they say nothing unto him. Do the rulers know indeed that this is the very Christ? Do they not know? Obviously they don"™t.Who in their right mind would go about killing someone who went around freeing folks from demons and various diseases.
7:27 Howbeit we know this man whence he is: but when Christ cometh, no man knoweth whence he is. Then as these people themselves began to doubt"¦.we have the next verse spoken loudly.
7:28 Then cried Jesus in the temple as he taught, saying, Ye both know me, and ye know whence I am: and I am not come of myself, but he that sent me is true, whom ye know not. Both of you groups know me! Although you do not know the one who sent me. However; I"™m reminded of an earlier verse in John."ťAll that are taught of the Father cometh to me."ť Take heart my brothers and sisters, if we belong to Christ we do know the Father for no one can come to the Son except the Father draw him, and I will raise him up on that last day. Praise God! We know Him.
7:29 But I know him: for I am from him, and he hath sent me. He plainly states although you folks only think of my father as Joseph and my mother as Mary; I actually came from God.
7:30 Then they sought to take him: but no man laid hands on him, because his hour was not yet come.
but no man laid hands on him;
though they had a good will to it, they had no power to do it, being restrained by the, secret providence of God from it, and awed by the majesty of Christ, which showed itself in his looks and words; and perhaps also they might be afraid of the people, lest they should rise in his favour; and so every man being fearful of being the first that should seize him, no man did: however, so it was ordered by divine providence, that he should not be apprehended at, this time
Our lives are also in the hands and times of God. We need to live in such a way that we can have the same attitude as Paul. Phillipians 1::21
"śFor to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain"ť
Have a great day brothers. Pray ,pray and pray
God Bless,
Chuck
