Real Men Aren't Afraid of the Dentist

Who said men were afraid of the dentist???

The Millers were shown into the dentist's office
where Mr. Miller made it clear he was in a big hurry.

"No expensive extras, Doctor," he ordered.
"No gas or needles or any of that fancy stuff."

"Just pull the tooth and get it over with."

"I wish more of my patients were as stoic as you," said the
dentist admiringly. "Now, which tooth is it?"

Mr. Miller turned to his wife.

"Show him your tooth, Honey."

Seriously...I passed out why they were taking xrays. I am FREAKED over the dentist. They have to drug me good just to do a cleaning.

Ha ha ha.... That was a good one!

I won't go within 500 yards of a dentist office. Sorry.... Been there, done that, won't go again. See, I had the USCG totally fix me up w/ a crown or two & some bridgework right before I retired. They had to drug me and knock me out too. [:'(]

I still have "issues" with dentists. You see, back when I was stationed in Boston, MA in the USCG, I went for a dental appt. Well, good ole' Dr. Butterfingers slipped with the drill and drilled right into my lower gum!!!!

] Tore me up pretty good too. [:'(][:@] I remember freaking out and sitting right up in the chair, knocking that tray full of torture implements out of the way, knocking the dentist backwards and scaring the hygenist/assistant!!! They had to put me under with gas right away, because was about to go ballistic!!!! [:@] Anyway, now you know.... Ever since then, I now have a horrible psychological, dental-phobia.

And can totally relate. THEY must put me on something because I react th esame way. I feel sorry for anyone who tells me they are going to the dentist.

Another fear I have is heights. 13 feet is as high as I'm going with my Summit. And then I may come down a foot.
