This might be one VERY tough day...

I posted some time ago that I would appreciate prayers for my sister who is fighting cancer...and of course a sincere Thank You to all that replied...

I will be with my sister this afternoon to go over results of recent testing. We (my family) know her condition is terminal at best, but we should get a better understanding of exactly what we are dealing with...Gonna be a lot of hand holding for this one...

Sooo, again, please, any thoughts, prayers and well wishes are appreciated...I will certainly keep my friends here updated....You folks are the BEST!....

I'm praying right now brother. We've been having lot's of fun here but when one hurts...we all hurt. We are holding your hand as well and trust ing God on this one.

I know how hard it is for you, I have a very close Uncle that's terminal
from prostrate cancer. I will also keeping praying for your sister.

jimmy, your sis is in my prayers daily..in times like these i look to His Word for comfort..

"Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort;
Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.

Jimmy your sister and all of you are in my prayers, I pray that God will bless you all with the strength needed to get through this, I pray that God will comfort all of you in these trying times, and most of all I pray that Gods will, will be done and that you all will be comforted by his will, in Christ name I pray amen.

Please do not stop the Prayers....they are working.....

Recent tests indicated that my sister's cancer is spreading. She underwent further testing to determine if it was the same cancer cells spreading or was it new cancer that we know by blood tests is lurking somewhere else.

If the tests showed it was new, then the aggressiveness would have translated into catastrophic reality. BUT, that was not the case, the new growth is not believed to contain cancer cells....Soooo, a deep sigh of relief was felt yesterday.....There is still a long, hard battle to be fought, because she is still fighting this dreaded disease which we realize is terminal. We can and will deal with that as the days turn into weeks.

The folks here with their prayers and well wishes can feel good about themselves. They did something very special to me that I will not forget. They put a little smile on the face of my sister....

Thats good news Jimmy, and your little sister has my continued prayers. Keep praying yourself and realize that God has made the impossible possible before and He just may do the same thing with your sister. It ain't over till it's over and then it's only beggining. Lets have faith in God but accept His will in all things. I hope I'm not sounding wrong, . .I only say these things because I have experianced answered prayer . .both no and yes. God bless you.

Brother Jimmy good news is good news and I am glad to hear we could bring a smile to her face, give her a hug for me. Jimmy we are all of course praying for a miracle for your sister, but a miracle may not be Gods will, and if it is not as Brother Leaf said, it will be a new beginning for your sister and not the end.
