Great post! 1 John 2:6 tells us to walk, even as he walked. If our example was baptized with the Holy Ghost, it seems that it would be alright if we also were to be baptized with the Holy Ghost.
Yes Leaf,
He became a man and did all these things I believe to fulfill scripture. Thanks Leaf.
Something else...Kinda like Taz said in a post not too far away.Notice Christ recieved the Holy Spirit at His water baptism. First time I ever saw that. Very interesting. Taz said he was filled withthe Spirit at his baptism as well. Man...I've been learning alot of things on this forum lately.
Leaf, have a real good day brother and I love you.
Chuck
Brother Leaf that is some great stuff which I concur with totaly, Christ said it numerous times that he could only do what his Father gave him the power to do. Brother Chuck the feeling I had when I was baptised was over whelming, when I arose from the water I was so over taken I could not speak, I don't know how to fully describe it except to say it was a beautiful warm, safe, enlightened feeling both spiritually and visually.
