For some reason I really never thought about this before until someone spoke of this story the other night. I've heard the story of Lazarus before and how Jesus raised him from the dead but in John 11 33-36 it says this......."v33 When Jesus therefore saw her weeping, and the Jews also weeping which came with her, He groaned in the spirit, and was troubled, v34 and said, Where have ye laid him? They said unto him, Lord, come and see. v35 Jesus wept"..........I know it doesnt specifically say why Jesus groaned weither it was because He saw everyone in pain and that caused him to groan or something else but its amazing to me that He felt pain and wept even though, I believe, He knew He could and was going to fix their problem that was causig them to grieve. I know I may not be explaining my point very good but its kinda like this....... say you had the power to raise someone from the dead and a friend of yours dies, you go to his/her graveside and all your friends loved ones are there and crying in pain. Well you yourself know that everything is gonna be ok because you have the power to raise that person from the dead, so more than likely you will be happy because you know what you can and are going to do. but Jesus felt their pain and sorrow even though He knew what he was going to do. O THE PRECIOUS LOVE OF JESUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
