Questions Pentecostals CANNOT answer! But please try!
1. If salvation is "solely by grace," why are not all people saved since "the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men" (Titus 2:11)?
2. Jn. 10:30 teaches that Jesus and the Father are one. But does this mean one person or a unity between persons? Does 1 Cor. 3:8 then mean that Paul and Apollos were one person? Does Eph. 5:31 mean that a husband and wife are one person? See also Gen. 11:6 and Jn. 17:21 for examples. Jn. 17:21 indicates that the "oneness" of the disciples was to be just like that between Jesus and the Father.
3. Since Acts 2:4-11 teaches that when men spoke in tongues (i.e., "as the Spirit gave the utterance"), they spoke actual, understandable human languages, why believe that any other cases of tongue speaking were in languages which could not be understood (e.g., Acts 10:46, 19:6, 1 Cor. 12-14)?
4. Since all examples of miracles in the NT were definitive and clearly visible signs, wonders and powers [review them all to verify this], why apply the word miracle (in the biblical sense) to things that clearly do not fit that description today? God acts in the affairs of men today, but if these actions qualified as NT miracles, they would be impossible to deny (Jn. 11:47-53, Acts 4:13-22).
5. Since the miracles in the NT were for the purpose of confirming the newly-revealed word (Mk. 16:20), what new revelation (i.e., not in the New Testament) is being confirmed by miracles today?
6. If we cannot understand the bible alike, how are we to understand the confusion being generated by everyone claiming to speak under the influence of the Holy Spirit (1 Cor. 14:33)?
7. If someone receives the Holy Spirit when they are saved or at baptism, why did the Samaritans, who were saved, in Acts 8 not yet have the Holy Spirit?
8. 1 Cor 13:8-13: Whether Paul intended it or not, one cannot walk away from this illustration, without thinking that God was telling the Corinthians that the spiritual gifts belonged to a "childhood" stage in the church. Hence, spiritual gifts are not a sign of "spiritual elitism", rather they infer that something is missing or not yet complete. Agree?
9. Why do people look over their shoulder for the catcher, just before they are slain in the Spirit?
10. If tongues is so centrally important, why is the gift of tongues not again mentioned after Acts 19:6 and the book of first Corinthians?
Is it true that: Pentecostals view all non-charismatic churches with contempt, calling them "dead churches"?
Pentecostals feel they are the spiritual elite, a sort of "Spiritual Aryan supremacy"?
Pentecostalism is a religion that roots in emotions not the mind. They say, "You feel religion, you don't think it."?
Has the devil has deceived all Pentecostals into confusing the presence of God in their assemblies for emotional chaos?
I believe that the contempt I see is coming from you Goose. I have family that are Baptist, Methodist, Church Of God, and UPC. I hold no contempt for them. I certainly am not of an elite frame of mind. Also there are many non white pentecostals, so we can't say that we are Aryan elite. I have always been taught not to go by feelings but by faith. I have never witnessed emotional chaos in our assemblies. As a matter of fact , it is preached against often. Our roots are not in the "emotions" or in the "mind", but in the Word of God.

Hey wait just a minute! I'm asking a question here! Just looking for an answer? I've been reading all the posts that have caused so much division on this board, and these are the things I have found! This is just a collection of what I've learned from you! And there is no discord being sown! Just questions asked! Ask me a question about my faith, I'll answer! If I had said these things were so, I could see your reaction as reasonable, but I just asked a few questions based on the posts that have been made in the past few weeks! This is not the first time you got upset at me for asking a question! Anyway, just answer the questions, and we'll all grow together. Thanks

Cute goose, and where did you get all of this from my posts? Where did you get all the Aryan Eletist stuff? What about the slain in the Spirit thing? No, you did'nt get all of this from my posts. If I were Aryan Eletist, why would I marry a non white. I know I did'nt say anything about being slain in the Spirit as that is not a thing that I have spoken of. Why would I take time to answer 10 of your questions? Grow together . . .right! You need to grow up goose, I have nothing to prove to you.
