Textus Receptus, or "Received Text," (TR) is the name we use for the first published Greek text of the New Testament. For many centuries, it was the standard text of the Greek Bible. The name arose from the work of the kinsmen Bonaventure and Abraham Elzevir, who said of their 1633 edition, "Textum ergo habes, nunc ab omnibus receptum" -- "So [the reader] has the text which all now receive."

"Original Textus Receptus" " Received Text", these are the Pe****ta and the Itala
manuscripts from which Christian bibles were translated and brought
about the Protestant Reformation. Martin Luther translated the Textus
Receptus into German, followed by William Tyndale's translation into
English, which was the basis of the Authorized King James Version of 1611.
The Vaticanus and the Sinaiticus were the Catholic translations so
the Pe****ta and Itala were not accepted by the Catholics.

I did not list every Bible from The Tree of Pure Good Stock nor all the Bibles
from the Corrupted Tree, there are to many.

BRO.MOOSE, I KNOW NOW, YOU STUDY OLD SCRIPTURE TOO!!!
