Default John3:18-21 And men love darkness

Dear Hunters,
Good day to you all .Verse 18-21 - "He that believeth on Him is not condemned."
Or sentenced. You have been pardoned. He paid our debt.
""but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God."
The person who believeth not has a sentence of damnation (Greek word Krisis). This person has not believed "in the name Jesus the only begotten Son."
Verse 19 - "And this is the condemnation [or verdict], that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil."
Verse 20 - "For everyone that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deed should be reproved or made manifest."
Verse 21 - "But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God."
Of course when Christians think of sins they think of the big ones: adultery, murder, drunkenness, witchcraft, etc. Brother Paul you probably won"t find much of these outward flesh type sins in the church, but you will find these: malice (a deep seated animosity that delights in causing others to suffer), envy (a feeling of ill will because of another"s advantage), strife (a bitter struggle), hypocrisy (pretending to be better than one really is), carnality (fleshly, worldly, the opposite of spiritual) and jealousy (a resentful, suspicion of a rival"s influence). These are the characteristics of those who refuse to walk in the light of the Lord. 1 John 2:10 - "He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is none occasion of stumbling in him."
1 John 1:5 - "This then is the message which we have heard of Him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in Him is no darkness at all."
Jude 1:24-25 - "Now unto Him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, to the only wise God our Savior, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen."

In His Service,
Chuck
