Cute Calvin post Moose!

I bothered to post all those scriptures. They are very plain in their language. Why don't you refute them? I am not interested in your opinions and your ignorant attempts to twist words around. Show me the beef! Or Moosemeat--whatever.

Romans 5:12
Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all men, because all sinned--

Romans 7:15-24
I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do. [16] And if I do what I do not want to do, I agree that the law is good. [17] As it is, it is no longer I myself who do it, but it is sin living in me. [18] I know that nothing good lives in me, that is, in my sinful nature. For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out. [19] For what I do is not the good I want to do; no, the evil I do not want to do--this I keep on doing. [20] Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it.
[21] So I find this law at work: When I want to do good, evil is right there with me. [22] For in my inner being I delight in God's law; [23] but I see another law at work in the members of my body, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within my members. [24] What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body of death?

That is God's Word, Moose. It needs no further elucidation from either of us. It is plain to those who will accept its truth. Won't you accept its truth Moose?

Moose,
How come you put my name in there? I thought we were friends. If I wrote something that offended you in the past ,please let me know and give me a shot at correcting it. I don't like fighting guys whose names are Moose.

Moose,
I see what you are saying.Brother ,please don't write so much. All you have to say is I don't think babies are born with sin.I would say OK Moose. That's cool. No biggy. As long as Jesus is your Lord and Savior all the other stuff is not worth grieving God's Spirit by argueing. I love you and plan to meet you one day. Please don't ask to wrestle me.
Your too big to be horsing around with.

Love ya,
Chuck

Chuck, you and I will do OK. After all we are eternally secure. In Moose's anger, he has probably lost his salvation and will have to get saved again. I suspect that is a dialy occurrence.

Matthew 5:22
But I tell you that anyone who is angry with his brother will be subject to judgment. Again, anyone who says to his brother, 'Raca,' is answerable to the Sanhedrin. But anyone who says, 'You fool!' will be in danger of the fire of hell.

Clint,

To be honest brother ,I am not Calvinist. I believe in faith that shows works. The baby issue is a little thing to me.Actually it's all little .I'm a school teacher focusing on getting my kids to pass a stupid statewide test. My Christianity deal is a 24/7; buffeting this nasty flesh of mine and walking in the Spirit. That's a job in itself.

Chuck, I am not a calvinist either. Actually, calvin was right about some things and his detractors (ie. Arminius) were right about some things. The truth probably lies in between the two extremes. Those devoid of understanding continue to remain on the side of one extreme or the other. By the way, I never mentioned anything about babies in any of these posts. That is a figment of Moose's imagination. It is quite lively, you know.
I wish you well with your children's education. I attended school in the state of Florida for a few years back during the 1960's. In those days, public education in Florida was very poor. I am sure it has improved immensely.
