God only knows.I really don't know the extent of God's mercy. I knew a very quiet Christian women. She had a Profoundly Mentally Handicapped daughter. Profound is about a 20 IQ. Mental age will generally stay about 1-2 years old. It wore on her.She was a very sweet lady but very quiet. As she watched her daughter grow up to be about 16 and still 1 years old mentally ,she walked behind a building. She pulled out a 22 pistol and ended her life. Myself and a lot of Christians were in awe. She had been to Israel .Knew her Bible well.She just snapped. May God have mercy on her soul.

The fear of not going to heaven has kept me from entertaining that thought a time or two. No since in judging another tho, it's between them and the Lord now. Sorry to hear about that.

Suicide is usually the result of severe depression. Depression is an illness that can often be succesfully treated with new medications which have few side effects. The critical thing is to recognize that a person is depressed to the point of being suicidal and getting them medical attention. Sadness, lethargy, loss of appetitie and loss of interest in things that the sufferer used to find pleasurable are symptoms of depression. Also, contrary to what some people may think, people who do threaten to commit suicide are at a much higher risk than those who do not. Take seriously any suicidal threats or ideations in a family member or friend. People who commit suicide or for the most part are not evil, they are ill and can be helped with proper and timely medical intervention.
