WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. "” The state's social services agency went to court to block a 13-year-old girl who is pregnant and living in a state shelter from having an abortion, and the girl wants to challenge the judge's decision.
The ACLU filed an emergency appeal on Wednesday asking a judge to overturn the ruling that would essentially force the girl to become a mother, said Howard Simon, the organization's executive director for Florida.
I believe any state has the authority to ban abortions under any and all circumstances. It's a state issue, not a federal one. If you don't like the laws of your state, there are 49 others to consider moving to. That's one thing that makes us great as a single nation.

what if all 50 decide to not permit them? becomes only a theoretical right, doesn't it?
Then so be it. I don't have a personal interest in abortion other than my principle. I think the feds have no business involving themselves. If the majority of citizens in every state feels it should out outlawed, that's democracy in action.
