Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default A smart Wisconsin politician! SSS

Here is a quote from the linked article
Quote:
But feral cats probably wouldn't want to scamper too close to Johnsrud's farm in southwestern Wisconsin. He said he shares a philosophy with many rural state residents who deal with feral cats.

"Shoot, shovel and shut up,'' Johnsrud said.

While shooting a domestic cat gone wild sounds cruel, Johnsrud said pet owners who drop their pets off in the countryside are guilty of cruelty to animals. Feral cats reproduce rapidly, sometimes carry disease and kill songbirds, he said.

"Tom cats don't care if it's their mother or their sister. They'll breed 'em," Johnsrud said.

While Johnsrud's promoted hunting of mourning doves, he said feral cats are cruelest to the birds. Feral cats will kill a mourning dove without eating a bite of the animal.

Your ability to get 3 completely unrelated words in the same title just plain amazes me Taz ...

Johnsrud actually is a welfare retard.

"While shooting a domestic cat gone wild sounds cruel, Johnsrud said pet owners who drop their pets off in the countryside are guilty of cruelty to animals"

Who the **** does this goat fornicater think he's kidding? No one drops off their animals in farmer's fields - thats the damn dumbest thing I've heard on this subject in weeks.

FARMERS are responsible for the animals on their own land --FARMERS are the ones keeping feral cats to keep the rodent population down.

And he ain't too bright if he's coming out and saying he's going to shoot them anyway, he may be a tough guy on paper but he will meet up with some psycho that will rip him a new one.

OH YEAH, NOW I REMEMBER THIS IDIOT BETTER...

This "politician" is the same guy whose claim to fame was his trying to make Autopsy photos classified... He's a nut.

He also was against putting the timber rattler on the endangered species list (Wisconsin has one of the very few places in the country that has timber rattlers).

State herpetologists and the milwaukee county zoo in conjunction with the fed actually counted the rattlers in their "secret area" -- the public is not allowed to know where this den is, obvioiusly it's got to be on state land, because their population is so low and this is the only place in the country where they can be effectively studied, the total number of snakes was 57.

Johnsrud didn't want them on the protected species list because he said "his property had literally HUNDREDS of timber rattlers", and he felt he should have been allowed to kill any animal including a timber rattler.

They researched his property, not even so much as a grass snake.

the man is a LUNATIC

Rather unrelated, but since you brought it up....here in PA we need a $5 permit to kill one rattler in season. Season runs 6/11-7/31 this year.

I think if they want to be turd heads and they just happen to be there they might. But I would bet my life you're not going to find someone driving 50 miles or more to drop fluffy off at farmer dick's house, they would just open the door and let 'em go into the alley.

You let them in the alley and they'll come right back as soon as they get hungry. As someone who owns genius cats, I'd think you'd realize this.

This is the same city where the original crazed cat killer is from ....

LA CROSSE, Wis. -- A man told police he kept his mother's corpse in a basement freezer for more than four years while he collected her Social Security checks, authorities said Monday. A body was found encased in ice, in a sitting position.
Philip Schuth, 52, told police his elderly mother, Edith, died of natural causes in August 2000, but that he didn't tell anyone because he was afraid police would blame him, according to documents filed in court Monday.

My cats have the keys to the house.

Plus look at it rationally. If you're going to discard a "pet" you are probably not to fond of it to begin with - hence it would make perfect sense they would NOT waste the time money and gas driving fluffy 50 miles away
