I think they should all be killed off, but they're going to shoot them from helicopters?! There's a huge potential for some inhumane kills there. I know the Outback is huge, but they could at least fly in some dune buggies or something and go out in them.

I agree, sounds like theres a problem there and people need to step up and kill the hell out of them to get their numbers back under control.
Not unlike feral cats. And BTW, AUS didn't kill all the cats, and even if they had, it wouls have no impact on whether the camel population was out of control or not. FYI - camels and cats don't eat the same foods Bob

Funny how one country is critisized for the introduction of non-native animals whacking their eco system and we say very little if anything about whacking them to control them, but if it is the good old USA we raise HADES about controling non-native species in our wilds!
