I got this in an email and there is a certain logic to it.
Quote:
Thought for the day:
If you consider that there have been an average of 160,000 troops in theater during the last 22 months, that gives a firearm death rate of 60 per 100,000.
The rate in DC is 80.6 per 100,000. That means that you are
more likely to be shot and killed in our Nation's Capitol, which has some of the strictest gun control laws in the nation, than you are in Iraq.
Conclusion: We should immediately pull out of Washington, D.C.

Its true i wouldnt want to live in dc for many reason but a dangerious place to. where they disarm you with plenty of gun control laws- if your a law abiding citizen - you are at the short end of the stick & prey to all the heavy armed criminal elements. Up the creek at they say...[]

Most dangerous is not limited to murder only. In fact, murder is arguably the least of your worries if you're to consider crime in general. Most criminals want your property or temporary use of one of your body cavaties, not your life.
Killing is messy and draws the full force of heavy law enforcement in most cases, rendering it as counter productive.
