RE: help me tard - other - I'm going to start
We wouldnt have the cat problem, if they were held to the same laws as dogs. I have a cat and love it. But I have it fixed and it stays indoors. I have had to shot cats before. Wouldnt consider any a trophie.

Mine have collars, they're both fixed, and their collars have bells. They are inside/outside cats. If someone kills one ? So be it. They're cats ......... can't get too attached to something that hates you anyway
Well, I just want to be the first to say the obvious. When it comes to knocking down a big tomcat -- and I'm talking about knocking down, not just wounding and then having to track 'em -- you better not go undergunned! I would advise nothing less than a .338 magnum. Yes, people have killed tomcats with all kinds of cartridges. Old timers might advocate the .30-06, and I grant a .30-06 may kill a tomcat, most of the time. But for those quartering away shots at 300 yards with dusk falling on the last day of the season during your hunt of a lifetime . . .
