NOPE, and thats why they're that much more dangerous! These are "pets". I've never heard of a domestic cat killing a human by ripping it apart.
Therefore, all dogs MUST be done away with !!
Quote:
Every year in Wisconsin alone, an estimated 2 million wild cats kill 47 million to 139 million songbirds, according to state officials.
I would LOVE to know how they come up with those estimates. Do they have little cameras on the kitties? Or are they WRONGLY attributing a potential lowering of population because of development... And where did you get that quote.. from the "Lets Blast Kitties Quarterly" magazine?
A dog is a debilitated, deformd wolf, but a cat is a cat is a cat. There was a study done in England of the social structure and behavior of tame and wild barn cats. The results said that these cats exhibited the SAME behavioral and social characteristics as the big cats- tigers, lions, etc. The only reason you can walk from your backdoor to your back fence is becuse you dont fall within the prey size range of the domesticated cat. They are killing machines!!!
A dog is a debilitated, deformd wolf, but a cat is a cat is a cat.
RIGHT, AND WE ARE within the prey size range of most dogs. Hence we have to start blasting fido immediately !!!
did you know that a Cat (wild cat like a cougar or even domestic) is only one of about 3 animals that you're supposed to look directly in the eyes at if it approaches you? That tells them "i see you" and they typically run away.
tard - i think your numbers on dogs is way off too.
However, you're mixing issues. In fact, there ARE bans on breeds of dogs known to bite people in a lot of areas. People are held accountable for their animals when they attack/bite people too. Don't think for a minut tens of thousands of Phydeaux's aren't put down every year for biting the hand that feeds it and good riddance too.
The issue on the wild cats .......... they're wild, not unlike any other varmit hunting or predator hunting. What don't you get about that ?
And on wild dogs - I'm all with you there too Tard - kill the sons a bitches, every one of them.
You don't think we should kill wild dogs either ? Are you against predator hunting ?
Pit bulls
Rottweilers
German Shepherds
Huskies
Alaskan Malamutes
Doberman Pinschers
Chow Chows
Great Danes
St. Bernards
Akitas
The breeds considered most likely to kill are pit bulls and rottweilers, and the CDC says that a chained dog is more likely to bite than an unchained dog.
The CDC also says the majority of dog attacks happen at home or in a familiar place.
Someone probably was throwing something at it etc. I've owned them my whole life and only saw them get nuts like that when they're in grave danger.
When I was 4 years old (one of my earliest child-hood memories), I was over at a relative's house and tried to pet one of their tame, house cats. The cat was obviously tame as it sat purring on the couch all day. When I reached for it, the cat bit me and sank its tooth completely through my skin between the thumb and index finger. I jerked back and had a cat hanging from my hand for a few seconds. That hurt. I hate cats bitterly to this day.

Care to bet? I"ve owned 3 of them. One was a son of a b!tch. Not that she was nasty, she just could not be litter trained and didn't get along with our other cat "buckwheat".
Other than that, I was able to get the other 2 to calm down. Once they know you're not there to kill them, they trust you.
