Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Times are a changin'... "Yes Ma'am" out of date I guess

I'm quite convinced people from the Midwest are not as polite as folks from the South. I had no idea people have traveled this far from manners though.....

My daughter asked me the other day, "Dad, is addressing an adult lady as 'Ma'am' rude?". (My daughter is 13). I laughed and said no and of course asked why. Her classmate's mom is from the South and has been trying to bring her daughter up with manners and to respect others. So her friend addresses the teacher as Ma'am and got in trouble for it. The teacher took her aside and told her it was rude and sent her to the office to think about it. The teacher is in her late 20/early 30's.

I find this insane. Has this nation lost its mind? Are we being dumbed down and programmed to that extent that we find every day common courtesies as rude? Or did I fell asleep on the depot bench while the train took every one to the Twilight Zone?

I think you're confusing "politeness" with "mental speed" ...

Did you hear the arguments on the breast implants (silicone) ?

Women declaring they should be able to choose what they put into their bodies - seriously. I say let the dumb wenches do it all they want and don't complain one bit when they go pop and screw themselves for life. [:@]

I don't have a problem with fake boobies. What I do find hilarious is when women go out of their way to attract attention -- and get it, and are then "shocked" and "crushed" that they get stared at.

Yep - the ol' low-cut sleeveless top that ends just above the naval complete with a fake-a-rack bra and skimpy skirt screaming, "LOOK AT ME!!!!!". Then when you take a peak, you're a pervert and they look back at you as if you're MJ or some crap. Geesh. Of all the nerve of some of these broads today. [:@]

Years back when I worked at GE, there was a broad in drafting that was absolutely gorgeous, and she wore spiked heels, a crop top and spandex capri pants to work.

You didn't dare look at her or she would turn you in.... women's lib my arse.
