Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Open letter to Senator Frist

Dear Mr. Frist,

I have heard rumours in the last few days that the Republicans are backing off the idea of using the constitutional option to end the unconstitutional filibusters of the Bush appointees being carried out by the minority party.

I just wanted to let you know that as a person who has always voted republican that if you guys don't have the fortitude to end this once and for all while you have the opportunity you can count me out as a republican voter.Â* You may think that conservatives have no where else to go?Â* I've got news for you.Â* There are a lot of us who vote republican because of social issues and are actually closer to the democratic positions when if comes to other issues.Â* You guys have only this year to break the logjam and start the reforming of the judiciary.Â* If you don't have the balls for it then get out of the way.Â* I personally am making a vow right now that I will not support you or any other republican involved who fails to take decisive, EFFECTIVE, action and end this farce in the senate.

You can cry crocodile tears about Terri Shriavo all you want.Â* This travesty of justice is due to the morally bankrupt condition the judiciary is currently in.Â* You Republicans have the power to start the reform of the judiciary branch and refuse to do so based on your 'respect for the venerable traditions of the great body of the Senate'.Â* Hogwash!Â* We can do without the senate if this is what your respect for its tradition produces.Â* You guys remind me of Jimmy Carter and his foreign policy.Â* Always afraid to act and when he did act if was timid attempts that were simply ineffective embarrasements.Â* And you remember what happened to his presidency as a result?Â*

So we want to see some action.Â* Be a Bush - stand for what is right come hell or high water.Â* The door will be closing on your golden opportunity to do anything soon if you fail to act.
