Thursday evening, a man was arrested after he went to a gun store in Seminole and threatened its owner with a box cutter while demanding a weapon to "śrescue"ť Terri Schiavo.
The Republicans are really shooting themselves in the foot over this one. Seems that over two-thirds of Americans are against federal involvment in this case and support Michael Schiavo and the courts' decisions to uphold his custody of Terri. Now we see the Right display their hypocrisy on activist judges. Just like those they despise politically, they are shopping around for a court to enact law instead of judge it. Way to set an example!
Now the issue of gun violence makes its appearance on the scene. Nice going, folks.
it seems unfortunate that members of both parties profess to want LESS government intrusion into our lives, except where they want MORE government intrusion into our lives.
