Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Moral of the Story

Get a living will for yourself ,wife and your kids. The day your kids turn 18 let them decide what they want done if something happens and have them fill out their own living will.

At a family dinner or gathering, bring this subject up and let everyone know how feel and what measures you want done if any in the event of a emergency.

Living wills can be fought for years. Depends on how good your lawyers are.

I'm just going to have step-by-step instructions tattooed on my back. I might even have a diagram with details on pulling the tubes.

Put everything in writing and have it dated and signed by witesses or a notary that are not relatives and it will be hard to break. Make sure that you leave at least one tangible item in the will to those, like your children, that you want to leave "things" to.

Data, Your opinion or is this actually a fact?? I have a feeling doctors when told the patient has a DNR won't do anything after that. I could call my father and ask him what he would do. Might not have all the experience you do though. He only ran an Emergency room for about ten years.

My lawyers are Ribinowtiz,Epstein and Rapaport.

Charlie look at this Terri case and you tell me, I agree there is no living will, but there were enough witnesses to her wishs to stand up in court. If someone has the money I am sure they could dispute a living will for quite a while unless they have your attourneys!!!

If you have enough money and are willing to lie to get your way, you can dispute the sun rising.
Or killing your wife and girl friend!
