Default Wisconsin: Proposer of Feral Cat Hunting Speeks Out

Here is the Tribune article. The man makes some good points. I thought the money issue was one of the most interesting.
Quote:
The cat and animal lovers have stated they are "outraged" that I have made my proposal to the state concerning feral cats. I have not asked for nor have I taken any money from anyone and I did not spend any money to make my proposal. Organizations like The Humane Society of the United States and People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals receive millions of dollars yearly in donations from animal lovers. I hear no "outrage" from cat lovers that these organizations have done nothing about the feral cat issue.
Quote:
I have heard every excuse from cat lovers as to why cats run free. I fail to understand their excuses, when they claim to care so much for their animals. The cat lovers offer no solution to the feral cat problem; they only attack my character and make threats against me. My proposal makes no threats against any person or persons. Yet, the cat lovers have made threats to my job, co-workers and family.

Gee and I thought what Tard said was gospel about this guy being a looney bin who wanted an unlimited hunting season on cats even in cities!! I guess that article shoots Tard right in his paw.

Oh jeez, here we go again.

That is a good point about the HSUS and Peta...

If they care so much for these poor free-ranging cats, why don't they do something about it? Anyone catch that article about HSUS in American Hunter a while back? Great article about how they actually don't DO anything except pump out literature.

The retard has to put the crack pipe down. The function of the HSUS is NOT to go out and trap cats - not to mention, they can't tell if the cat is feral or not!

That is the equivalent drivel as saying that the NRA is simply not doing anything about Gangs in the inner cities -- you know, the ones that perpetrate most firearms crimes.

The guy is a psychotic crap head.

Right, so in other words it's up to citizens like us to take care of things.

See above.

If no one in government, charity, or business wants to try and solve an documented problem, there is only one choice left--the people.

Are you against the Minuteman Project?

You are assuming some things:

1) There is a problem.

2) You are allowed to do anything about it.

This whole subject is retarded, it's like arguing about the bear schit problem in the woods.

I would like to have the state force this inbred bone smoker to get a damn job.

I'll make you guys a deal

I will go along with this "legislation" IFF, you back additional legislation that states if a hunter is found to have shot someone's pet - he gets a $10,000 fine.

If feral cats are sooooooo pervasive, this should be a no brainer.

Deal.

If that pet owner can prove ownership...you know, rabies, feline lukemia, distemper vaccinations, stuff like that, then I fully support anyone who shoots a pet cat getting a stiff fine.

Tard I will agree to that deal also, but I would add just one thing to Carps proof of ownership, a valid tag on the cats collar!!! OOOHHH a collar to indicate that kitty is not a feral cat, what a novel idea!!!!
