The gas prices, and the price per barrel, in combination with a huge deficit, skyrocketing health care costs, rising interest rates, the threat of escalating world tensions and increasing possibilities of domestic terrorism... and we have Congress diddling itself over baseball and steroids?
We have the money wizzard wya and his pal greenspan telling every body times are great.Clinton was a real dick, but the republicans are setting a new level of incompetency.
The gas price doesn't have me too concerned. Market price simply reflects were supply meets demand. As for healthcare and everything else the government has it's hands in, that's another story.

North Texan - Have your wages gone up a great deal in the past 24 months ? Because if they have went like mine have, I'm not keeping up with the huge % jumps gas is making. It effects absolutely everything that gets shipping in this country - which makes costs on everything go up yet our wages don't keep up.

Tuition has gone up about proportionally to gas prices.

The U.S. consumes about 30% of the world's natural resources. We represent 6% of the population. That trend can't keep going on indefinately.
