I posted a couple weeks ago about Fox running an article about a shooting in Texas where an innocent bystander gun-totin' hero saved some lives while he lost his. I couldn't believe what I was reading... on a major news outlet.
This afternoon I listened in on Monica Crowley's segment on MSNBC - she was interviewing the president of the Brady Foundation (sorry, can't remember his name), and another fellow that supports concealed weapons laws and has conducted much research on the subject, (no, can't remember his name either.). The subject was on the Red Lake School shootings and concealed weapons. The Brady Bill guy was obviously an interrupting, egotistical, colossal boob that spewed false pretentious information. The good guy, when he was able to get a few words in, spoke intelligently, calmly, with truth and conviction.
What was so entertaining about the segment though was to hear Monica get so aggitated with Brady Bill guy, cutting him off several times, telling him he and his data was wrong, and that an armed school employee could have clearly helped the situation if not completely thwarted the killings. I was shocked. It was awesome.
Miracles taking place in the communist media maybe? Hmmm....

Monica Crowley is a Republican operative and talking head. I'd expect her to give the Brady guy a hard time. Isn't her show relatively new? I don't/won't watch MSNBC.
Maybe that's because the Brady Bunch and the rest of their anti-gun ilk have yet to make even a prima facie case for gun control, and the public, despite the political and media spin that's used to distort reality to make the gun control argument "fit," is starting to see through the BS for the truth. Anti's often come across as raving nutjobs that either can't see, or refuse to acknowledge, plain fact and logic in favor of emotional drivel. It's nice to see that someone in the media has the guts to take the anti's to task over their baseless position on gun control.
