Default Shootings in Red Lake Minnesota

I first heard of this 4.30PM PST today. It's now about 10.30PM PST. Does not sound good at all..reporting 10 dead including teenage shooter. Said to have happened around 3PM CST. I would have thought it would be all over this forum by now!
Thoughts and prayers go out to victims and thier familys!!!!

Yeah i was kinda suprised too about it not being in forums yet. Its sad it happened once again. I was talking to my mom about it and even she agrees with me that someday there is going to be a school shooting that would be worse then Columbine one. I hope it doesn't happen but sad to say, it probably will. My heart always goes out to the families of the victims, minus the shooter.

When I was a kid, I didn't even think about such things. The mear thought of such a thing would have gotten me the beating of a life time. Responsible parents know what their children do. Responsible parent(s) know if their child needs help. Responsible parent(s) raise responsible children.

I put this all on the parent(s) of the shooter. They failed their child and society.

Here we go again. What has happened to respect for humane life? I feel pain for the victums and there families. I don't know if I could stand the loss of one of my children. A parents worst nightmare. And to have it done by another child. I hope and pray that today they are in the hands of the lord.

And as usual, this is another one that could easily have been prevented! I heard this morning that this kid has a history of violence, has frequently posted to web sites under the name "Angel of Death, always dressed in black, and worst of all, he has said recently that he was going to "shoot up the school!"
I really feel for the victims, my heart and prayers are with them!
I don't want to use this as a soap box to defend guns, but what odds do you think Vegas should be giving that guns will get the blame, instead of the criminal?

bnhcomputing, I know what you mean about the parents but that's a tough one in this situation. the father comitted suicide 4 years ago and the mother has been hospitalized with brain damage sustained from a car accident. I know that would be pretty tough to live with. (this deffinately doesn't make it right I just wanted to clarify the situation).

The reports say the gun was an LEO issue pistol.

They didn't say if he stole it from an LEO or a if family member was an LEO and he stole it from them.

But somehow, he got his hands on a Cop pistol.

Ifart, what if he was just putting down kids with the terminal sniffles?
