I like my state of mind just fine. I have no desire to get zonked on anything. I don't even get drunk - it takes my out of normally sharp, witty self and I become a hateful demon. Its not pretty.
If I were in extreme pain then yes, I can see medcinal uses of ANY drugs if closely monitored and valid

actually, I haven't had any for about 3 months, but i like to have just a meager amount around to smoke on an occasional day off around the house. I like to do it if I have a bunch of domestic chores and especially if I'm tying flies for trout fishing---so yes Tard, sometimes I can even concentrate better with it. I know this question wasn't specifically directed at my situation but I thought I'd get the ball rolling.....kinda like a group therapy session

LOL..let's just say there was the time I was hopped up on Purple Passion and that goat looked mighty sexy standing there in her best wool gown.
But I have never tried anything stronger than pot so I can't speak for getting tweeked on coke and going on a binge.

No. My personal belief of not wasting my time, mind or money, not wanting to set a bad example for my son and because I get to meet so many people who tell me how marijuana (and other drugs) haven't messed up their minds and then forget what they were going to tell me. I might buy your argument about being free to choose your own destiny, etc., etc., but there is no way anybody is going to convince me that marijuana and other drugs don't mess up their minds. Tardfarmer's studies just prove what I have seen all to often while working my job. As for the medical aspect of it, I'd still like to see more studies done regarding using THC in a pill form (Cannabinol?) versus somebody just smoking a dooby.
