On one hand we have a young, bright, smiling, sweet mother-to-be who was living the American Dream only to be cut down in her prime.

On the other we have a lying, devious, thieving slut who made her living scamming and blackmailing celebrities.

It's called THE JURY SYSTEM. The jury system in this country STINKS.

The lawyers will discount jurors based upon their professions. The least often called professions for jury duty are as follows:

1) Doctors
2) Lawyers
3) Scientists/engineers
4) cops.


1 & 3 because their training allows them to discount emotional arguemnts. they're trained in facts, not emotion.

2 because lawyers know the system

4 because they're affraid that cops (normally forced to be aggressive on the job) will "take control" of the jury.


So they want ma and pa kettle who want nothing more than to get the hell out of their to run home and watch Hee Haw.

The sheep are easily led .Look at the O.J. jury. Nine months of trial 45 min. of deliberations he walks.

tard nailed it. The jury system in this country is so screwed up.

The concept of a "trial by a jury of your peers" is a noble pursuit and the system sounds like it works.

The problem comes in the way juries are selected in this country. They should just randomly pick 15 people and stick them on the jury, no striking allowed.

Pay attention the next time a juror is interviewed on television following a high-profile case. These people are so flipping stupid, I wouldn't trust these people to read my gas meter, let alone decide my guilt or innocence.
