Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Court House Shooting

I was watching Fox news this morning and they were interviewing a Attorney about the shooting. It came out that this guy used to be a cop and has been involved with martial arts /training for over 40 years. He say's that he wrote a letter more then two years ago warning about the lack of procedure in this Courthouse.Told them this type of thing could easily happen and was basically told to keep his mouth shut.

He made several points including:

1. Inmates are routinely escorted 1 on 1.Many times it was like yesterday a woman escorting a male prisoner. This was a major sour spot with this guy.

2.In Courtrooms there will be no officers present whith a defendent that was given no bail.

3. Officers entering cells with multiple prisoners with the gun in their hulster.

4. Yesterday they actually told all the people to stay in the court room and then left no officer there, with out knowing the whereabouts of the subject.

After reading the story this morning, it seems political correctness killed those people, with the BG doing the shooting. The officer who was attacked and whose weapon was taken first was a FIFTY YEAR OLD WOMAN who was FIVE FEET TALL, and weighed, judging by her picture, no more than 130 pounds. She escorted a 6 foot 1 inch, 240 pound man into a room, not a holding cell, so he could change into street clothes for a court appearance. I'm sure when he attacked her, he was close enough to tie her up and prevent her drawing her weapon. Then it was simply a matter of his size and strength, in relation to hers, to disable her and take her weapon. Keep in mind, this same prisoner had been caught just a day or so before with two homemade knives in his shoes. Poor planning, complacence, and political correctness killed those folks.

Talking heads and LEOs on the scene yesterday talked about retention holsters, and how "snatch proof" they are. After beating someone senseless (the officer suffered a fractured skull, crushed eye socket, broken nose, and other head trauma. She was beaten so badly first responders thought she had been shot in the head!), it doesn't matter what type of thumb break, lock, etc a holster has. They were talking a hardware solution to a software problem.

When you read the orignial charges against this guy; kidnapping, rape and possession of a machine gun you have to consider him to be a potentially very dangerous individual. The apparant complacency involved in transporting him, knowing his propensity for violence, is shocking and frightening.

At least 5 dead, several others wounded at Brookfield hotel
Shooter opened fire at church meeting, then killed self, police say
Journal Sentinel staff reports
Posted: March 12, 2005

A shooter opened fire at the Sheraton Hotel on Moorland Road in Brookfield this afternoon, killing at least four people and seriously wounding several others before killing himself, according to police.

Four victims and the shooter were dead when police arrived on the scene, Brookfield Police Chief Daniel Tushaus said. At a news conference later at Froedtert Hospital in Wauwatosa, a detective said "some" of the six people taken there have died also. A victim taken to Children's Hospital in Wauwatosa was reportedly in stable condition.

The shootings apparently occurred at a Living Church of God gathering in a meeting room at the hotel shortly before 1 p.m., Brookfield police said. The victims ranged in age from their early teens to their 60s.

No other suspects are being sought in the incident.

The hotel, at 375 S. Moorland Road, is just off of Interstate 94 near the Brookfield Square Mall.

Police asked people with information or with family members at the hotel to call 262-787-3702.

This story will be updated as reports come in.

Oh crap, the death toll is now 8 with 3 in intensive care.

this is not going to be good. wisconsin tends to be a reactionary state. I think this is going to lead not to a discussion of concealed carry but more bans.

sh**.

You know that and I know that, but the average idiot in milwaukee and madison don't.

so far it looks like most if not all of his victims were from the same family.

revenge killing.

I had to work today. My office is basically across the street from this place. I left the office at around 1:30 and it looked like a war zone.

I agree with you tard, this is not going to be good.
