Jews are about as conservative as they come ,

Ummm,

On the average (and closer to the whole) they are EXTREMELY liberal.

They are where the terminology of "neocon" came from, it's a play on words because they're not conservative at all.

I'm forced to disagree Tard .
Most of the Jews that I've met were conservative to the point of being crippled by it . I am , of course , referring to orthodox practising Jews , not the garden variety .

Most of the Jews that I know, including some close friends, are actually secular in the way they live their lives and are no more likely than secular Catholics or Protestants to reject gay marriage. I think it is more a matter of their personal politicol beliefs than any religious convictions.

but you do live in California , an insular , concentrated world unto itself . I've lived there too , and found it not to my Southern raised liking . Visit a few more states , especially the Eastern and Southern ones , and your opinion may change . Your posts to date haven't exactly suggested broad based travel in this great land of ours . Methinks you need a walkabout .

As a matter of fact, you could check out a website www.jpfo.org

jpfo = jews for the preservation of firearms ownership. it's a very right wing site and they are located here in Waukesha (where I live), he is HATED by other jews for his stance on firearms.

They had to move out of milwaukee because of death threats.
