Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton stood with one of her most conservative colleagues yesterday to announce a bill to curb sex-and-violence-drenched TV shows and video games.
Clinton (D-N.Y.) has several co-sponsors - including Sens. Sam Brownback (R-Kan.) and Joe Lieberman (D-Conn.) - for the bill, which would provide government funding to closely study the impact of such video games and shows on kids. But it was conservative Sen. Rick Santorum (R-Pa.) who caught the eye of political watchers.
You people were all 100% positive she was running last time - in fact, I'll have to read back through the threads, because I seem to recall people making outrageous bets and claims that she would run.

Come on, we can all taste her insane desire for the presidency. There is no one flag that she's running. Look at the whole picture and there is no doubt.
I do not think that Hillary Clinton will ever run for President. She has to know that she is simply too polarizing a figure, even in the Democratic party. I do believe we will have a woman President some day but not in the near future. I think the most likely scenario for a woman to be elected president is for at some point in the future the Republicans get a real drubbing at the polls for going too far to the right and moderates in the party begin to reassert control. This would set the stage for a moderate Republican woman to be nominated, and elected President. The first woman elected President will not be a Democrat.
I'm not denying that she may run for president - I'm just pointing out that people were terrified of her last election.
Frankly, I don't see her as anything even resembling an electable candidate. I would think conservative minded people would be happy to see her win a nomination from the dems.

Oh come on...Hillary doesn't give a damn if she's electable or not. I will bet that she will run for President, but I don't think she'll get the Democratic Nomination. She's spent the last few years sprinting to the right, not to mention that the DLC is a dirty word to the crazy lefties right now. She'll get no support from Dean and as dumb as I think most lefties are, I think even they know she's unelectable.
What's the DLC? I honestly don't recognize this abbreviation, but part of that might be due to my leftie affiliation which, apparently, has caused or been caused by, mental retardation.

Ahhh, but Doc, that is precisely why she's cozying up to republicans, to look more middle of the road.
