What's ironic to me is that if the notion to buy into the petroleum industry on mega scale ever strikes them , and that's not too unlikely , "wal wart" would eventually come to dominate the domestic and later foreign producers . With their clout they could drive oil prices into the ground and make a killing doing it . Absolutely nobody drives a harder bargain than they do . The resulting bargain for the consumer would spur intense new consumption and a kick in the pants to the economy as a whole . Thousands , if not millions of jobs would be created . Hmmmm ... I guess ol' "wal wart" ain't so bad after all . Half empty , or half full ?
