Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

It doesn't matter what he's drinking Tard.....he's still right!

W's daddy, slick Willie, and ol' "W" himself....share the bulk of the blame for the social security mess. Yeah, Congress had a part too....but most of it is them. Their meddling and spending all over the world with SS money has brought this on. Now, it's time to pay the fiddler.

It sounds to me like the American public isn't buying "w" s plan. That's not too surprising. Privitization might be OK, but it doesn't address the SS shortfall. In fact, it will only exacerbate it.

Social Security has worked in the past and it will work in the future when responsible elected officials begin to wrestle with the problem. Oh, "W" ain't one of the aforementioned reponsible individuals. He should spend more time pandering to his base and leave the serious issues to those qualified to deal with them. Bill Clinton was a master of "spin"....but Bush and Cheney make him look like an amateurish buffoon. Stir 'em up about religion and morality George....they'll never even notice your inept handling of foreign affairs!

Uh...that's RIGHT field....not left field. I am one of the most conservative people you will ever encounter.

George W Bush, however, in not a conservative.

Ask him about HIS liberal rants...and his liberal spending.

Perhaps you too, have been deceived by his spin?

The coffer was on the verge of bankruptcy when Bush took office and had been for years. This is a direct result of action by the congress
since the 50s raping the fund and never replacing the funds. To blame Bush for something he inherited is a bit like shooting the messenger for bringing you bad news. If you wish to leave your head in the sand and ignore the situation with no attempt to "Fix" the problem then you deserve to drink Bud and Coors for the rest of your life.
