Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Iffered, you are pretty close. In fact Carolina dogs are often reffered to as American Dingos. They also go by dixie dingo, southern dingo and native american dog. Over the past 30 years there have been studies on wild free ranging dogs in the south east. There have been many traits that have been noticed that link these dogs to other primitive breeds such as the dingo. These include pack hierarchy, pack pup rearing and hunting. These dogs have since been brought into a captive breeding program. After DNA study it has been shown that they do in fact have a very strong genetic link to the dingo. These could quite possibly be one of the very first true breeds of dogs ever. Thes dogs are one of the true primitive breeds coming about completely from living in the wild and not selective breedings from humans. There are still wild packs that can be found in the south east much like wolves. These dogs were actually the dogs of the indians and the first domesticated dog in america. They can tend to be shy as pets but do pretty well in a family if raised from a young age. However they still tend to be wary of strangers due to their strong "pack" behavior.....anything else?LOL
