Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

If individuals cannot be prudent, prudence will be legislated.

A good law. However, thos enclosures are Irwins personal property and not a state or public one. I wonder if such a law could go into effect here in the US ?

Just wait until the powers that be decide that hunting is no longer "prudent."

The "powers that be" have already mandated prudence in hunting in countless ways from licensing to bag limits to the application of over 20,000 firearms laws, even down to the manner of dress.

Come on now he knew what he was doing. On the other hand if it was just some unexperienced person....

Steve Irwin is an idiot for putting his toddler at risk like that.

I'm not sure there needs to be 'stupid Steve legislation' because of the incident but at the very least, he should be bitch slapped by Terry (his wife).

And by the way, Irwin is a serious anti-hunting advocate so I'm glad he's catching a little hell over this.

Wes Tex, as I recall his wife stood by his actions and defended them.

I didnt know he was an anti. Doesn't surprise me though.
