Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Israel to buy 500 bunker buster bombs from US

I just read a blurb about it in an article on Drudge. I personally have a video that was emailed to me showing a bunker buster exploding and the crater it makes. While it is incredible, it seems to me that any country can dig deep enough to get below where they can reach, assuming they don't drop other bunker busters in in the already-deep craters. I am also aware that many Iranians are coming forward with information on nuclear materia sites, which must be assumed to be moved again once that information is out. It will surely be interesting to see how this whole Iran nuke thing plays out.

Did you know that those "bunker busters" fuselages/casings are actually recycled Howitzer barrels.

Let's hope this means we'll have to drop 500 less ourselves. Blast 'em....

It certainly will.... last week we flew servailance flights over Iran to determine their air-strike capability as well as to gather more nuke info. Why? This is standard protocol that precedes an attack doesn't it?

Also, keep an eye ball peeled on Russia's involvement in the middle east these days, (and the troops they are carrying out military exercises with more and more these days as well - their pals the Chinese). Tis going to get interesting.

This is just about a textbook case of "kicking @$$ and taking names," isn't it? Iraq is dealt with. When that mess starts to settle down, we look around for some other idiot defying the world and kicking sand in peoples's faces, and we gear up to provide them the one-on-one tutorial in political etiquette they need to get with the program. Syria is appearing to need a little schooling in their own right.

If you let some sleeping dogs lie . . . they ultimately get around to biting you. It seems that we are doing what needs to be done to settle things down and establish a real peace. Sure, things can go awry. Sure, we have made mistakes. But in the view that I have it appears we are moving forwards and making progress, fighting one alligator at a time, as it were. We have let a lot of this stuff fester and worsen over time. I'm glad we are cleaning house and settling scores. You can bet that the petty sand kickers around the world are going to take notice and start playing nice again.

If the Democrats were smart, they would get with the program themselves. If they oppose this on-going activity every step of the way, crying and moaning that it can't work, that we have made more terrrorists than we have killed, and the effort succeeds . . . what does that do for their credibility and the assessment of their competence to lead our nation? For example, the Senator from Connecticutt, Lieberman, is solidly behind the President in his war on terror -- though I leave room that Lieberman may have points of disagreement with the President's execution on some particular points, it appears he is substantially in agreement. Just because someone is a Democrat doesn't mean he can't see a threat and prefer to respond to it rather than oppose any response.

Gathering military intelligence doesn't necessarily mean we're preparing to attack, but in light of the situation over there, we probably will. In addition, yesterday Iran said it would shoot down any drone flying over the country.

According to Miss Rice we shouldn't worry about them writing up plans for attack either.

They just had some spare time on their hands.

Israel said on Wednesday arch-foe Iran was just six months away from having the knowledge to build an atomic bomb, as Tehran accused the United States of using satellites "and other tools" to spy on its nuclear sites.

The Israeli warning followed Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice's call last week for Iran to abandon any pursuit of nuclear weapons and meet its international obligations if it was to be sure of avoiding conflict.

"The question is not if the Iranians will have a nuclear bomb in 2009, 10 or 11, the main question is when are they going to have the knowledge to do it," Israeli Foreign Minister Silvan Shalom said on a visit to London.

"We believe in six months from today they will end all the tests and experiments they are doing to have that knowledge."

The chief of Israel's Mossad intelligence agency said in January Iran would have the capability to produce enriched uranium, which can be used in both power stations and nuclear bombs, by the end of 2005.

Iran's Intelligence Minister Ali Yunesi on Wednesday again denied that his country's civilian nuclear facilities were a cover for an atomic weapons program, saying U.S. satellites were spying on Iran but would find nothing as "we have nothing to hide."

Good old Israel, stir the pot sit back and watch what happens. Because if they get involved none of the other countries in the region will support us.

You think Israel had anything to do with Lebanese Prime Minister Rafiq Al Hariri death the other day?

The likely suspects are Syrian military intel and their allies in the Islamic terrorist movement. But I suppose that if anyone could cover something up to deflect blame, it would be Israel.
