Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Right on point. Bush and his crew are spending like drunken marines.

You'll get few responses here laddy'. The idealogues have trouble with facts and figures.

Bush ran as a conservative and most people buy it even though he's put Abortion and the Gay Marriage Ban on the back burnner after campaigning on those issues.

The Bush motto seems to be "Keep the lower classes stirred up with the 'morality' card while we let the big $ run the real show (hehehehehe)."

Medicare expansion is something Ted Kennedy would do, go figure?????

And look at the resounding silence from the hard-core right wingers on this board.

It was the same thing when the Bush admin paid Armstrong Williams nearly $250,000 to promote a point on their agenda. Ho hum, oh well. Who cares if Bush & Co are misappropriating taxpayer funds incognito?

As long as Bush is doing it, if flys.

I still occasionally see comments about Clinton and his escapades on this board, and rightly so, No one was more angry at Clinton than I.

I think it is dangerous and borderline UnAmerican to endorse openly or by silent omission all actions of a particular president.

My God!!! If I vote for the guy, I will be harder on him than the guy I didn't vote for - he got my vote - he owes me damn it!!! He sure as He!! doesn't get a free pass!!

The loser lost (Kerry) forget that sorry liberal whiner, get on with the business of the voters and be a damn conservative or be a liberal - pick a side already!!! (I feel like I'm shouting in an empty gymnasium........ am I?)[:@][:@][:@][:@][:@][:@]

Bush has spent way too much, and is really just the far lesser of two evils because Kerry would have spent even more.

I support Bush, but not on the perscription plan, nor immigration, and I'm on the fence on SS reform.

Now, do I need to mention that on each bush-slamming thread?

I've been reading posts regularly for coming up on a year. And I don't remember anyone defending Bush's spending spree. In fact, most of the conservative "idealogues" on this site seem to dislike more about Bush than they like. So, that criticism is nonsense.

I wasn't aware that he campaigned on abortion and the gay marraige ban. It seemed more about terrorism, Iraq and tax cuts to me.

And don't even bring up the issue of "keeping the lower classes stirred up." The democrat leadership has based their entire existence on class warfare.

If it makes you feel better, I can't stand Bush (and the Republican Congress) when it comes to the spending issue. Because he is damaging the country and his party.
